As more Americans receive their covid vaccinations, plans for moving forward from the pandemic are in full gear. Two MTD affiliates are showing they are prepared with television commercials hitting the airwaves.
The American Federation of Teachers (AFT) wants the country to know its members are ready to return to in-person schooling. The union has launched an ad featuring teachers and students who want to be back in the classroom. (Click here to see the AFT commercial.)
Meanwhile, the Communications Workers of America (CWA) is pushing its fight to bring broadband access to all Americans. Because of school shutdowns, the lack of Wi-Fi for all became an issue in vast portions of the country from cities to farmlands to reservations to mountains.
